Esther Graduates University

Meet our most recent university graduate! Esther recently graduated from university in Kenya with an education degree. Esther does not have living parents, and her early years began in poverty. She came to the children’s home when she was 9 years old. The staff loved her, supported her emotional, along with her physical needs, and provided her an education.

Once Esther finds a teaching position, which we are confident will happen, she will have found her way out of poverty. She only needed an opportunity. Kenya Matters & the children’s home provided that to her. Our team spent time with Esther on our most recent trip.

She is the most beautiful, kind, and sweet woman who understands where she came from and where she is going. Others opened the door for Esther, and she stormed through it. And this is why we continue to make trips to the children’s home.
